Pedras Salgadas natural sparkling water

Pedras Salgadas is a prestigious Portuguese brand of naturally carbonated mineral water, sourced from the springs of Pedras Salgadas in the northern region of Vila Pouca de Aguiar. Its history dates back to 1871 when the therapeutic properties of the water were officially recognized, leading to the creation of a thermal spa and the bottling of the water. Unlike many other sparkling waters, its carbonation is entirely natural, occurring deep within the earth's crust.

Currently, the brand is owned by Super Bock Group, the largest beverage company in Portugal. The Super Bock Group itself is a joint venture between the Portuguese group VIACORP and the international brewery giant Carlsberg Group. The manufacturing process remains centered at the original source in Portugal, ensuring the preservation of its unique mineral composition and natural gas content.
