Its most famous product is the 'Fabada Asturiana'. The Litoral Vegetal line offers plant-based versions of traditional recipes, focusing on natural ingredients.

Manufacturing remains centered in Spain, specifically at the factory in Gijón (Asturias), which ensures the local authentic taste. Although it was a family-owned Spanish venture for decades, the brand was acquired by the Swiss multinational Nestlé in the 1980s. Nestlé continues to own and manage Litoral as part of its global nutrition and food portfolio, maintaining its position as a market leader in the Spanish canned meal segment.
