Ehrbar is a historic Austrian brand of pianos, founded in Vienna in 1801 by Friedrich Ehrbar. The company became one of the most prestigious piano manufacturers in Europe during the 19th century, known for their technical innovations and high-quality craftsmanship. They were famously appointed as piano makers to the Imperial Court of Austria-Hungary.

While the original family factory closed in the 20th century, the brand remains a significant part of Viennesse musical heritage. Historically, manufacturing took place exclusively in Vienna, Austria. Today, the Ehrbar name is often associated with high-end antique restorations and the legacy of the historic Ehrbar Palace in Vienna, which served as the company's headquarters and concert hall.
