Sugru mouldable glue

Sugru is a unique mouldable glue that turns into silicone rubber, designed for fixing, modifying, and creating. The brand was invented in Ireland by Jane ni Dhulchaointigh, who developed the silicone technology while studying at London's Royal College of Art in the early 2000s. Since its launch, Sugru became a staple in the DIY and "maker" communities worldwide, known for its versatility and durability.

In 2018, the brand was acquired by Tesa SE, a major German manufacturer of technical adhesive tapes and self-adhesive system solutions and a subsidiary of Beiersdorf. While the brand has its roots in Irish invention and UK development, it is now part of a large German multinational portfolio. Manufacturing has historically been centered in the United Kingdom to maintain quality control over the patented silicone formula.
