Little Trees is an iconic brand of automotive air fresheners that originated in Watertown, New York, in 1952. The product was invented by Julius Smnn, a German-Jewish chemist who fled Nazi Germany and settled in the United States. He developed the evergreen-shaped paper air freshener after a milk truck driver complained about the smell of spilled milk in his vehicle. This led to the creation of the world-famous 'Magic Tree' or 'Little Tree' design.

Today, the brand remains a family-owned business under Car-Freshner Corporation, headquartered in Watertown, New York. While the products are sold globally under various names such as Wunder-Baum in Europe and Arbre Magique in France, the majority of the production for the North American market continues to take place in their manufacturing facilities in the United States (primarily New York and Iowa). The company has maintained its independent ownership since its inception, continuing the legacy of the Smnn family into the 2020s and beyond.
