Nordgold Advokat is a traditional German egg liqueur (Eierlikör) produced by Nordbrand Nordhausen. The brand is deeply rooted in the distillation history of Nordhausen am Harz, a town in Thuringia famous for its spirits production for centuries.

The brand's modern history began in 1948 with the establishment of the state-owned enterprise VEB Nordbrand Nordhausen in the former East Germany. Following German reunification, the company was privatized and acquired by Eckes AG in 1991. In 2007, Nordbrand Nordhausen became part of the Rotkäppchen-Mumm Sektkellereien group, which is currently Germany's market leader in the sparkling wine and spirits sector. The product continues to be manufactured at the historical site in Nordhausen, utilizing regional expertise in spirit production.
