Benco Cacao-Energie chocolate powder

Benco is a heritage brand of chocolate granules, widely known for its unique texture and 'energy' positioning. Originally launched in 1967, it became a staple in European households, particularly in France and Austria, where it remains a market leader in the instant cocoa category. The brand was historically part of the Bestfoods portfolio and later Unilever, before being acquired by Nutrial and then Carambar & Co.

Starting in 2024, the Krüger Group took over the trademark rights for Benco, integrating it into their extensive portfolio of cocoa and confectionery products. While the brand has deep Austrian roots in terms of market popularity, its production is traditionally concentrated in France. Under the current ownership of the Krüger Group, the product continues to be manufactured in French facilities, maintaining the original recipe of soluble cocoa granules enriched with Vitamin B1 to support energy metabolism.
