SiSi is a quintessential Dutch soft drink brand with a history dating back to 1936. Originally launched as 'si si' (an apple-flavored drink) by George Becht, it became a household name in the Netherlands for its fruit-flavored lemonades. For decades, the brand was synonymous with Vrumona, a major Dutch beverage manufacturer located in Bunnik.

Historically part of the Heineken group since 1968, the brand underwent a significant ownership change in late 2023. Heineken sold Vrumona to the Danish beverage giant Royal Unibrew for €300 million to focus more on its core beer business. Today, SiSi continues to be produced at the Vrumona facility in Bunnik, Netherlands, maintaining its local heritage while benefiting from the international distribution and investment of its Danish parent company. The 'Take it easy, take a SiSi' slogan remains a well-recognized part of Dutch commercial culture.
