Lassa is a prominent Turkish tire brand with a rich history dating back to 1974. Founded by the Sabancı Group, one of Turkey's leading industrial and financial conglomerates, the brand initially operated under the name Lassa Lastik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. In 1988, the company entered a transformative joint venture with the Japanese global leader Bridgestone Corporation, leading to the formation of Brisa Bridgestone Sabancı Tyre Manufacturing and Trading Inc.

Today, Lassa products are primarily manufactured in two state-of-the-art facilities in Turkey: the İzmit factory and a newer, highly automated plant in Aksaray. These facilities are recognized as some of the largest and most advanced tire manufacturing centers in Europe. Lassa leverages Bridgestone's global R&D expertise alongside Turkish manufacturing excellence to produce a diverse range of tires for passenger cars, SUVs, light trucks, and agricultural vehicles.

The brand has a strong international presence, exporting its products to over 80 countries worldwide. It has also gained visibility through high-profile sports sponsorships, most notably serving as an official global partner for FC Barcelona in the past. As of 2026, Lassa remains a core brand under the Brisa joint venture, maintaining its reputation for durability and performance in both domestic and international markets.
