Bushmills 10 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey

Bushmills is one of the world's oldest and most iconic whiskey brands, tracing its heritage back to 1608 when a royal license to distil was granted to the area. The Old Bushmills Distillery itself was officially registered in 1784 in the village of Bushmills, County Antrim. This specific 10-year-old single malt is triple distilled from 100% malted barley and matured for at least ten years in bourbon and sherry-seasoned casks.

Historically, the distillery has seen various owners, including Irish Distillers and Pernod Ricard, before being acquired by Diageo in 2005. In 2014, Diageo traded the Bushmills brand to Jose Cuervo (Proximo Spirits) in exchange for full ownership of the Don Julio Tequila brand. As of today, the brand is owned by the Beckmann family, who control Becle, S.A.B. de C.V. (the parent company of Jose Cuervo), making it part of one of the largest spirits portfolios in the world while remaining produced at its original home in Northern Ireland.
