Familie Wein Schinkenstreifen (Ham Strips) are produced by the Hermann Wein GmbH & Co. KG, a renowned meat manufacturer specialized in traditional Black Forest ham. Founded in 1966 by Hermann Wein in Freudenstadt-Musbach, the company has grown into a leading specialist for smoked and air-dried ham specialties.

In late 2025, it was announced that the Swiss-based Bell Food Group would acquire the production operations of Hermann Wein. As of 2026, the brand is integrated into the Bell Food Group's international portfolio. Despite this change in ultimate ownership, the production remains deeply rooted in its original German facility in the Black Forest, maintaining the traditional smoking processes over local fir and juniper wood.
