Majani Fiat Cremino chocolate

Majani is one of Italy's oldest and most prestigious chocolate makers, founded in Bologna in 1796. The brand's most iconic product, the 'Fiat' Cremino, was created in 1911 as part of a competition launched by the car manufacturer FIAT to celebrate the launch of their Type 4 model. Majani won the competition with its four-layered hazelnut and almond chocolate cream, and although many others attempted to replicate the style, only Majani retained the right to use the FIAT name for its chocolates.

Today, the brand remains deeply rooted in Italian tradition. Manufacturing takes place exclusively at the company's facilities in Valsamoggia, near Bologna. Unlike many other historic European chocolate brands that have been acquired by large multinational conglomerates, Majani remains a family-owned enterprise, preserving its artisanal heritage and high-quality production standards.
