Menarini Pharmaceutical Products

Menarini is an Italian pharmaceutical company founded in 1886 by Archimede Menarini in Naples, Italy. In 1915, the company relocated its headquarters to Florence, where it remains today. Over the years, Menarini has expanded its global presence, establishing subsidiaries and partnerships in numerous countries. The company specializes in developing and manufacturing a wide range of pharmaceutical products, including those for cardiovascular diseases, oncology, pain/inflammation, asthma, and anti-infectives. Menarini's research and development activities are conducted through its divisions: Menarini Ricerche, Menarini Biotech, and Menarini Diagnostics. As of 2020, the company employed approximately 17,650 people worldwide and reported revenues of €3.8 billion. The Aleotti family, including Lucia Aleotti and Alberto Giovanni Aleotti, are major shareholders and members of the Board. In 2018, Dr. Eric Cornut was appointed as the Chairman of the Menarini Group, and in 2019, Elcin Barker Ergun was appointed as the CEO. Menarini's subsidiaries include Arax Co., Ltd. in Japan.
