The brand name translates roughly to 'Ours Suits Us' or 'Ours Pleases Us,' and it was specifically developed to highlight traditional Slovenian products and support local producers. The 'Slovensko trajno mleko' (Slovenian UHT milk) variant is a staple of this line, emphasizing its 100% Slovenian origin.

The product is manufactured by Ljubljanske mlekarne, the largest dairy company in Slovenia, located in Ljubljana. Ljubljanske mlekarne has been in operation since 1956 and is known for its high standards and local milk sourcing from over 2,000 Slovenian farms.

While the brand is a local Slovenian initiative by Lidl, the ultimate ownership lies with the Schwarz Group, a German multinational retail giant. Based in Neckarsulm, Germany, the Schwarz Group is one of the world's largest retailers and the parent company of both the Lidl and Kaufland supermarket chains. Since 2013, the manufacturer Ljubljanske mlekarne has also been part of an international entity, the French-based Lactalis Group, which is the world's largest dairy products corporation.
