Toms Karmella is a Danish confectionery product produced by Toms International, a company founded in 1924 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Toms International specializes in chocolates, liquorice, and sugar confectionery, and is headquartered in Ballerup, Denmark. The company produces around 50,000 tons of chocolate and sugar confectionery annually, supplying customers in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and the United Kingdom. Toms International employs approximately 1,200–1,700 people, depending on the season, and generated revenues of DKK 1.6 billion in 2021. The company also owns the Anthon Berg brand, known for its premium chocolates.
