Nicorette is a brand of nicotine replacement therapy products, including chewing gum, lozenges, patches, and sprays, developed in Sweden in the late 1970s by AB Leo. The brand was the first nicotine replacement product on the market. Over the years, ownership has changed hands multiple times, with previous owners including Pharmacia, Pharmacia & Upjohn, SmithKline Beecham, Pfizer, GSK, and Johnson & Johnson. As of 2026, the brand is owned by Kenvue outside the United States and Haleon within the United States. Manufacturing occurs in multiple countries to meet global demand.
