In 2000, LU was acquired by Danone, a French multinational food-products corporation. In 2006, Danone sold LU to Kraft Foods, which later became Mondelez International after a corporate split in 2012. Mondelez International, headquartered in Chicago, USA, is the current owner of the Tuc brand. The crackers are produced in multiple countries, including Belgium, Hungary, and the United Kingdom, to meet the demand in various markets. The ingredients typically include wheat flour, sunflower oil, barley malt extract, glucose syrup, raising agents (ammonium carbonates, sodium carbonates), salt, eggs, flavorings, and flour treatment agents (sodium metabisulphite).
