Kapten & Son GmbH is a German lifestyle and accessories company founded in 2014 (watches, backpacks, eyewear, luggage and accessories). In 2021 Ardian Growth (a French private equity firm) acquired a minority stake to support European expansion; the founders remain shareholders and management continue to lead the company. The group operates from its headquarters in Cologne and runs regional sales/distribution entities in Europe.
